I'm trying to be logical about this since we just signed Shelby and are even looking at Chris Long.

So what's the position breakdown so far?

SDE: Shelby, Goodman, (Long?)

SDT: Babineaux, Hageman

DT/NT: Hageman, Jarrett, Mbu

WDT/DE: Clayborn, T. Jackson

LEO/WDE: Beasley, Starr

MIKE: (J. Freeman?), Worrilow

SAM: Reed

WILL: ???

CB: Tru, Alford, Collins, (Boykin?)

SS: Ishmael, King

FS: Allen, Therezie

Okay, so the deficiency is blatantly obvious. We literally don't have a WILL backer on the roster right now.

My draft choices for our first pick are:

1a. Darron Lee
1b. Shilique Calhoun

I actually think Calhoun will be there when we pick at 48. I agree though, if Lee is there at 17 someone needs to be sprinting to that podium.

Wouldn't mind taking Hunter Henry in the second round.

Falcons sign WR Mohamed Sanu.

5 years, $32m, $14m guaranteed. Breaks down to $6.4m/yr, however he's only about a $4.3m cap hit this year.

It's clearly back loaded and will likely only last 3-4 years. He'll get maybe $17-$20m when it's actually done.

That's still way too expensive IMO. He better give us at least 60-70 receptions for 800-900 yards and 5-6 TD's to make that worthwhile.

1T:Jarrett
LEO:Beasley

Thats probably the starting defensive line right now. We can still go after a rush end(LEO) in the first round. That would cause Beasley to move to the WILL spot, where he played, and excelled, the last few games of the year. He will be our Bruce Irvin. Would give us a lot of flexibility, and we could move Beasley all over the field in three different positions.
