I couldn't give two shits about Ben Simmons in the NBA.

Unless he goes to the T-wolves because him, Towns, and Wiggins would be awesome.

Hopefully he gets drafted by Philly.

I know it's cliche to say, but this seriously has obsession written all over it. I bet you talk about LSU fans on here IRL don't you?

Maybe. If he goes #1 does he have the mentality to not just want to coast to the next contract on a shitty team?

That would be my concern. I don't know if he is mentally ready for the NBA yet. On a good, and deep, team where he could sit on the bench and take time to develop he'd probably do alright for himself, the kid has real talent. But he's going to wind up with a team that will need him to play right away...

they'll support him because he'll actually do well in the NBA as opposed to college

they're the most bipolar fanbase in the country and will turn on a player if he doesn't live up to expectations.

Which is partly why I love how they branded the Arkansas fan base as classless during NSD.

Man, idk. The kid lacks some serious heart and killer instinct. A place like SA would probably draw the best out of him, though. Popovich is a master motivator.

Did you just imply Simmons hasn't done well in college?

Should have went to Duke. I'm excited for the NBA next year. Will be interesting to see where Simmons and Ingram go and who KD signs with and how Dell Demps manages to waste 22 million in Cap space

No doubt. Jones has no business coaching a talent like Simmons, and that is apparent. Hopefully he is a laker

Well here at LSU we have slightly higher standards than Arkansas. I know y'all are just happy that players actually want to play in Little Rock, but it's a little different here.

They are grasping for straws here with some of these remarks.

I guess you have to run 70 yards vs Bama to be a superstar.

Eh, I don't think it's that. He's a cerebral player, and isn't going to force things just because he's the best player. Can be frustrating to watch as a fan, but he makes smart basketball plays.

People said the same thing about David Robinson not having a killer instinct, as well. Same for Dirk Nowitski. And Boris Diaw.

Yeah, just takes him being in the right system. We'll see how his career pans out. Hopefully he goes to a team that knows how to use his talents.

Actually the players at UALR are pretty happy, they are having a really good season and stand a decent chance of getting an at large bid.

Little Rock, however, is not where the Razorbacks call home. That would be Fayetteville.

Well, by Arkansas standards I guess every season is a good one. Just happy to be here!

I'm aware. Do you or do you not also play in Little Rock?

I love how a few people posting on tRant becomes the opinion of a whole fan base. That being said the Ben Simmons experiment was an absolute failure. It's been a combo of awful coaching and lack of motivation from BS. Oh well
