Muschamp certainly was not my first choice, but he'll do.
Herman was my first choice, at the time, but in retrospect I'm glad we didn't get him.
Fuentes was a mess ... taboo to the SEC.
Smart was all UGA all the time.
Richt went home.
Rodriguez was a lie ... a courtesy interview.
Taggert was our way of satisfying NCAA, EEOC and HR demands.
mUSChamp is our destiny.
Personally, I'm fine with it and think he will do well now that we've gotten to know him a little bit.
I never had anything against him personally as a HC ... I actually thought he got a raw deal at UF. But I did begrudge him when he went to Auburn instead of coming here when he had the chance ... until I was corrected with the true story of what went down and how all the interaction between Spurrier and he left him no choice but to go to Auburn.
And in Tanner's defense, who wouldn't have bit on Herman? We reached-out, Herman said he wanted the job ... Urbie called and backed-that-up and even encouraged the process to proceed. It appeared to be a done deal - Bob Beaudine had everything brokered and in place and then, bam ... the Les Miles talk starts-up and LSU contacts Herman. Then Herman gets a call from FSU "just in case" and then we lose to The Citadel.
It wasn't meant to be.
mUSChamp was meant to be.
I go with the flow.

I figured someone would get it eventually ... just waiting for the Bama fans to catch-on.

Uh...might be a long wait.

Wait, we lost to The Citadel?

You'd be in the minority then. We were laughed for weeks when he wasn't fired after the GA Southern loss (0 pass completions beat us).
Why do you think 4 years wasn't enough at a school like UF? I think it was plenty.

Count me in as one of the few non-USCe fans that think Muschamp will actually be successful there. I think he's learned from his mistakes at UF, which would've been a good team had he left the offense to those that know it more than him. I don't quite see him matching Spurrier's success, but getting fairly close 3 out of every 4 years on average. We shall see...
