flurries since about 8am in Alpharetta, been some more frequent breaks, but everything melts during those breaks in precipitation.

Not really, im back in the woods on a bluff overlooking the obed river so its cold as a well diggers arse and the snow wont go away. Makes the driveway slick and sometimes cant even get out. A few weeks back we had 10" and were stuck for 5-6 days, but had a good time almost sledding off the bluff.
