Cowan is a five star on scout so our final haul is 12 five stars.

Alabama takes recruiting crown for seventh straight year
'Unprecedented’ is beginning to get boring.
247Sports is able to crown the Alabama Crimson Tide’s 2017 haul as the No. 1-ranked recruiting class, for — wait for it — a seventh straight season. Alabama made history in 2013 when it became the first school to go back-to-back-to-back in the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings (the USC Trojans had consecutive No. 1 classes in 2005 and ’06).
With 322.53 total points, Alabama’s 2017 class is the second-best we've ever seen, behind Florida's 2010 haul.
Close behind the Tide is Ohio State. Urban Meyer’s class is as impressive a runner-up as you could imagine; its 94.47 per-player-average bests even Alabama's.
Georgia (third), Michigan (fourth) and LSU (fifth) round out the top-5.
Alabama landed six 247Sports Composite 5-stars, tied for the most ever. Count them up and they simultaneous fit needs and luxury across every position: Offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood has a great chance to start from Day 1 somewhere across an offensive line that loses two starters, just like five-star Jonah Wiliams a year ago. Receivers Jerry Jeudy, Smith and Henry Ruggs III have paths to playing time. Defensive end LaBryan Ray reminds some of Jonathan Allen, mega-recruit Dylan Moses could play early and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is expected to push incumbent starter Jalen Hurts this spring. That’s not to mention Najee Harris, a long-time No. 1-ranked recruit, who lands at No. 7. Harris joins an absolutely loaded running backs room.
Since Nick Saban got to Tuscaloosa, the Tide has won four national championships, five SEC titles and 17 NFL first-round picks. With another No. 1 class, the dynasty doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

Alabama doesn't want to miss the opportunity to promote another top recruiting class.
On Twitter, the school's athletics department posted an image of digitized billboard located along Tuscaloosa's McFarland Boulevard announcing each of the players who have signed their letters of intent in real time.
