So you diss college football to prove how much your love of one pro player reflects so well on a college football team. Weagle

Start a thread because you are mad about another group being mad about something

didn't say it diminished it, it just shows that most of the country doesn't care. When one player is getting 10 times the pub then an entire program, it shows that College Football is regional at best and has a short shelf life.

Are you just now realizing that NFL football is more popular than college? Cam didn't make it that way. It has always been that way. There is a reason 25 million people watch the national championship game and hundreds of millions watch the Super Bowl worldwide.

Just stating facts. I too thought that CF could hold their own against the NFL, but the media this year has shown differently. Maybe they are tired of the SEC and Bama's run, but I think it is more the mood of the country.

I think Mr. Fashion is the one raging. He's upset that the public is not upset enough with him. Frankly, I couldn't care less about his criminal / non-criminal past nor about the school he chose to play college football at. I think he's a really good player in the NFL and is doing good things for the sport.

He's also good for a chuckle regarding his flamboyant nature.

According to the Panthers organization and their radio crew, if Carolina loses on Sunday, we may not see Cam until Tuesday. They stated that he pouts and takes a really long time to get to post game interviews when they lose.

I hope Carolina wins on Sunday, but if they lose it should be good for a laugh to watch him whine like a Corn Dog in November.

If you do not think the NFL is pushing for Cam to become a personality and the Face of their product, you are a fool. Manning and Brady are getting old and Rogers has the personality of a old man. Cam is being copied by kids and woman and minorities love him. It is the white older men and bammers who hate him.

When are sport news cycles ever talking about the past year's college football season a month after the final game of the cfb season? I'm confused.

Cam to most people outside SEC country is Cam the Carolina Panther, not Cam the former Auburn QB.

I'm happy for Cam. He's a great player and he's good for the sport. He also seems like a genuinely good guy. Glad to see him living up to his potential.

Auburn fans trying to stroke themselves off with this perceived Cam hate is just pathetic.

Maybe they are, but what does that have to do with Auburn? Cam hasn't played there since 2010. Auburn fans should be proud he played there and is having great success at the next level, but it's not going to help Auburn in football.

Everyone thinks of all the crap that he went thru while at AU. They remember how some try to derail him with the Heisman and others know how Harvey Updyke killed those trees due to a Cam Jersey and the comeback at BDS. Most player's college careers are forgotten about when they get to the NFL. Cam's is still remembered because of all that he went through.

holy shite you can't be serious. He doesn't rep Auburn every time he's on camera so to the average NFL fan....he's you know...a Carolina Panther.

That is just stupid. It's the time of the year. College football is over and it's time for the super bowl. A month from now, no one will be talking about the winner of the super bowl either.

You are still talking about people in SEC country. You think the NFL fan in Colorado remembers or gives two shits what Cam went through in college or even where he went to college?

LOL. So now the argument for some of you Auburn fans is that college football isn't really a big deal and doesn't move the needle in the sports world. 5 years ago you guys couldn't name 2 players on the entire Carolina Panther roster. Now y'all seem as invested in them as you were for Auburn at the end of the 2010 and 2013 seasons....lol

Yes. Sorry that doesn't fit your narrative though. He's very much associated with Auburn outside SEC country.
