It's always interesting seeing who player hosts are. Stuff like the derrick Brown comment you never really know about, but players that willingly host recruits you get a little extra insight into their personality

If we get Tyler and Johnson and Lassiter not Oliver who else fills out the class?

Hunter Ruggs Bryant and Johnston are all out

I assume Hand has a 3* OT in his back pocket but that still leaves 2 spots righ?

LSU scares me on Taylor... They are desperate for LBs and orgeron is a hell of a salesman. LSU seems to steal one guy out of state every year that we feel good about.

So apparently it's not a lock that Lasater offer is committable. That seems weird to me but wonder if Lindsey won't use the FB as much in future. Just weird that Johnston has eliminated us but we won't take Lasater

Ryan Johnson down to us and Stanford. He was accepted to Stanford and announces Friday

Lasater told KN that staff plans to visit him Monday or Tuesday then he will know whether or not he can commit

I read the article he said Chip was recruiting him at ASU. It just sounds like we we're going to put feelers out for anyone else at a position we need more than FB because we take his commitment

Ya I still think he lands at AU. I understand tho a new OC not wanting to accept a commitment day after he was hired. Hope he gets go ahead this week. Would like to have Cox replacement already on campus before he leaves

What would Gus possibly do without having fun the FB run/pass option?

Checking to be sure he is able to throw the ball.

I would go to Stanford if I were Johnson. Just a smart decision but he could do really well at AU based on film.

I gotta feeling he's going to pick Stanford, but we'll see. Stanford visits Wednesday and we visit Thursday I believe...

Hope not. Our class is already statistically worst than 2012.

Stanford degree may be prestigious. But so is hard work, exemplary character, and a degree in a competitive field from Auburn. Hopefully he takes that into consideration also.

And you don't have to live in Palo Alto.

Kind of an understatement.

Calling a Stanford degree prestigious is an understatement? Well I'll be damned.

You can't help but be a prick, can you?

Saying a Stanford degree may be prestigious is like saying Jessica Alba may be kind of cute.
