I looked it up. It's like 7.3 and 2.8. Rounded up for both and he is still underwhelming.

Skal was way overhyped based on potentiL, but it's clear he's a multiyear project. They were waaay off, no question.

I still assume he will leave after this season. He won't make the mistake the Harrison twins did of returning and having their flaws further exposed (although I realize they wanted to come back and win a title). If he leaves now, he'll still get drafted in the 1st on potential. If he returns next year, he'll have to contend with the beasts yall are bringing in. is that the consensus in Lexington?

I just looked at Chad Ford's big board and he currently has Skal as a lottery pick at #13.

Really? I know the NBA draft is all based on potential. But wouldn't his performance this year in college give you serious pause about drafting this kid?

You going to melt if Simmons doesn't even win SEC POY? Anyway, Simmons will be the #1 pick.

Our local Kentucky fans were pumping Skal as the #1 player.

Both Simmons and Skal were projected by services as #1 players going into in the draft this past summer. Unfortunately, Skal has turned out to be a project. The whole freshman class turned out not to be so good. Besides Simmons, Murray and Ingrham lived up to the hype.

Even Blakeney for us struggled for a while. But he has been playing great lately.

LSU fans bragging about how good Simmons is only makes their program look worse. Kind of like bragging about LSU NFL success.

Bragging about how good a current player who is still on campus is like bragging about NFL success?
Yep....you're a gump.

He could have chosen Bama or Kentucky for both sports or to follow Bama basketball and Kentucky football. He made the bitch move in my book.

You realize that Bama at this moment has a better resume then LSU and if they keep winning...they will be seeded higher then LSU.

I don't know anyone who didn't think Simmons was a rising star, just perplexed that he chose LSU. But, he wanted to be THE star and he is, so that is working out for him.

Just nowhere near Simmons and could never hope to be.

Skal has been slow to adjust, but he plays with a lot of other very good players who would all start for everyone in the SEC.

This is not a fair or even good comparison at all. Sorry.

This had nothing to do with Simmons attending LSU. If David Patrick was a coach at UK, Simmons would be playing for UK. If David Patrick didn't exist, Simmons would be playing for Duke.

Simmons Godfather is on the staff at LSU...his Godfather player with Simmons back in the day. It is understandable why Simmons went to LSU over Duke.

Any fool that down voted my response that Bama has a better resume is a fool. They have impressive wins and they are one of the hottest teams in the SEC.
