Never heard of That Band,but damn, that was a funny arse book.

When that kid thought" my mother is a fish" I actually laughed until I cried,and then,when they were having to chase the buzzards off the wagon....

Dude, no. So many southern novels better than that. Faulkner is way overrated by literary snobs. Walker Percy, Eudora Welty - shoot, I'd take John Kennedy O'toole over Faulkner on the strength of his one and only.

But like Quicksilver posted in a thread about LSU-Bama, What does this have to do with Ole Miss getting the hammer?

The news is just too delightful to get sidetracked.
