When making a gallon I go from a cup to cup and half.
Also I do not use lemon at all.

This is written at Stone Mountain. Before the sculpture was even started. Basic Southern protocol.

When I moved from Alabama I became fond of unsweet tea.
I take half and half at the most now.
I really don't like sweet tea very much at all anymore.
Didn't that would be possible before I left.

If you are making sweet tea using the original "sugar" I am going to suggest between a pint and a fifth. My great grandfather used what would be a liter to a half gallon today, but he only used cheap bourbon for "sweet" tea. Using the good stuff would have been a crying shame.

Try a sprig of fresh mint

I've lived in ALabama the majority of my life and I hate sweet tea. I didn't always hate it, but grew a hatred of it. Not sure how or why, but I used to get so pissed at the different sweetness levels I'd get at different places. I can tolerate a little sweetness now by mixing unsweet and sweet, but it has to be mostly unsweet.

My grandmother makes some sweet tea. I mean sweet. Someone spilled a pitcher in the kitchen one time and it damn near pulled your shoes off while they were trying to mop. Flypaper sticky.

At Sonic I will get half sweet half unsweet. McAlisters is just regular sweet tea, they have the best "chain" tea around.
The only way I drink unsweetened tea is Sun Tea during the summer. Probably should have posted that in OP.

If you don't need an insulin shot after drinking a mason jar of sweet tea, it's not sweet tea.
