Look at the names and production to date....
Is it too early to say these rankings were waaaay off?
Are alot of guys in the wrong system or dealing with QB issues?
I will say Malachi & Rudolph are doing all they can given the current QB play and stud RBs at their schools.

Dupre is awesome, just cant get him the ball enough
Quinn I feel bad for. We are stacked with WRs here and the 4th or 5th guy just doesnt get any looks. If he went to Clemson (his 2nd choice) he'd probably be their #1 or #2 WR with 50+ catches. He does everything right. Elite speed, great route runner, great blocker.

Malone was our leading receiver this year, despite having a handful of really bad drops. We're a run heavy team that has a less than stellar passer making the throws.
Athletically, Malone has all the tools. I do think he's been a tad bit underwhelming, overall. I also think that he plays in the NFL one day. Like I said, in terms of pure athleticism, he is an elite pro-prospect.

wasn't A&M a serious contender for Quinn also? I know it's hard to get a SWLA kid to leave the state but a pass happy offense would allow TQ to flourish

They were backburner, but they have their own offensive issues.
Speedy (from this list) transferrin

Someone on the Tiger Rant said that Quinn was thinking about transferring ... Any truth to that ? He seems like a good enough blocker to get more snaps in the slot down in red stick.

For OSU:
Samuel has played quite a lot both the last 2 years. Been a productive player
Dixon: has tendonitis in both his knees and has battled that. Hopefully he can get healthy

I don't think he's going anywhere. He'll rotate with Tyron Johnson in our 3rd receiver spot next season.

Clemson is deeper than LSU at WR. He'd likely have the same problems there only he'd be behind Scott, Cain, and Peake. He'd have a much better QB, though.

Because Speedy Noil worked out so well

Man I would love to have Quinn. Watch him go to the league and kill in the slot

didn't say Speedy worked out well... Speedy's personality and off-field issues helped diminish his on-field production and value.
That being said... his stats are still better than Trey Quinn's at this point. I do, however, believe Trey would have at minimum equaled if not bettered Speedy's production at A&M. Especially since he is a hard worker and not a headcase.
Who could have predicted Trey would play 2 years at LSU and still not have score a TD in his college career?

Could definitely see this happening.

The way he and Gerald Willis acted in the state title game they lost gave us a glimpse of what douchebags they are. Two of the best misses ever for LSU.

He was constantly open 2 years ago when we played just dropped the ball.

He's open all the time, unfortunately Harris throws to the first receiver, whether he's covered or not. Every ball thrown to him except one he caught this year, and the one he didn't was a terrible miss on Harris. Bad thing is he was thrown to about five times this year.

Seriously doubt it. He just isn't that good.
