Bama fans disagree about his recruiting ability. FWIW.

I have no clue about Brown, but OU fans scapegoated Heupel for one year of failed expectations too.

The only pause I would have looking at his resume is how often he's moved. Damn. Every year or two.

Agree, pause is a good word. But Brown and Petrino have built some decent teams in Louisville. That L'ville QB in the bowl game this year was amazing.

I'm sure Odom while at Memphis and Brown at L'ville have competed head-top-head for recruits. I'm gonna trust Odom to know exactly what he is getting with Mr. Brown. Odom and Cross are not going to let Brown screw-up the CB position. I hope he's an experienced recruiting machine.

He was there for one season, where they went 11-2. Alabama fans are disconnected from reality. They're the type of people that if Saban went 8-4 they would call for his immediate resignation.

That will make 3 of the 4 defensive assistants with experience as DCs at P5 schools.

Impressive set of defensive coaches.
