In hindsight would you guys still not want Tim Williams? I remember you guys stopped recruiting him weeks before he committed to Bama. Would you want him now?

I'm from Louisiana and so is cam Robinson, so therefore I get to claim a championship for Louisiana if Alabama wins a national championship.

IIRC, LSU only stopped recruiting him because he was vocal about wanting to leave the state.
Also, yes, I would love to have another quality DL on the team.

Something happened that caused Les and crew to stop recruiting him. No one knows exactly what happened but now a couple years removed we'd certainly welcome him.

Was about to start a thread on this I was so wrong about Tim Williams. I'll admit I did not think losing his commitment would be that big of a deal.
He's a beast and LSU missed out on a recruit that is literally down the street from Tiger Stadium

Back then if you would have told me it would take him 3 years to get a good weight, I would say pass. Looking at him now, want. Tim Williams was pro Bama from the beginning though.

I don't know, aren't you happy with Tony Brown? Sometimes you get what you want and it doesn't work out like you think. So just stfu and enjoy your season
