The saddest thing I've ever read...

Over on Tr is the saddest chat line I've ever read. Hundreds of LSU fans are moaning about what coulda been if they had won the 1-9-12 NC game.
Truth about that game is that the only thing the rest of the country remembers is that the 50 yard line wasn't crossed and most people wondered how LSU got into the NC game, not Alabama. But...
On Tr regret has turned bitter. Now it is regretted that some running back stepped out of bounds. Now it is declared the screen pass game in 2012 wouldn't have happened which would have given LSU another automatic NC in 2012 too.
It has been declared that LSU deserved to play in the NC with two losses in 2006, Florida deserved "a mulligan" against FSU, but Alabama shouldn't have been allowed. Soon it will be schedules, refs, SEC offices, ... ESPN favoring Alabama, LSU should go to the big-12, etc.
The longest running five year old melt in sports continues to deliver. It would be funny if it were not so sad. Merry Christmas 2011 LSU, and Happy New Year 2012. If only...

Actually, a lot of people were upset Okie State didn't get a chance because LSU had already beat Bama and called out the SEC bias which lead to the dismantling of the BCS for the current shite system we have now.

Looking back, the BCS had it right that year. The 2 best teams played for the national championship. The better team won.

And I think that winning the SEC Championship was harder than winning the National Championship.
It took an undefeated team to win the SEC. Not the NC.
