It makes me feel like crap in the morning. I also use melatonin sometimes. But if I screwed up and took too long if a nap after work, I need a baseball bat up side the head to get to sleep. That's shatter, a reefer bat across the head.
With my tolerance, it would be more expensive. But if someone only used indica shatter to sleep, and never touched any other THC. One hit from a vaporizer at bed time would actually be cheaper, even if you were paying $40 a gram. Probably better for your organs too.
I'd try ambian, but I don't want to wake up while driving my car.

Its also much worse for you.

Maybe in Alabama. If you know the right people in BR you can get a gram as low as $35
That's cheaper than recreational stores in Colorado. But I'm still leery of non regulated concentrates, because of the solvents. If it's not properly purged, it will make you very sick.

Don't get upset, buddy.
And "near toxic dose of thc?" Seriously? That isn't a thing. It doesn't exist. Since you seem to be in the know, can you point me to a credible, non-bias study that proves that THC is bad for your physical health at all? I'll wait.
Meanwhile, taking too much acetaminophen can damage your liver.

yeah, you got me before I could correct it. And for some reason I had Tylenol PM on the brain. So I kind of butchered my argument.
But, my point still stands that THC is as safe for you as IB PM as far as side side affects go. And lol at "you lost" as if you somehow have a legit argument as to why THC is bad for you.

As others have said, it's just a marijuana concentrate. Sometimes I'm not in the mood to smoke a whole joint or a bowl and it's nice to just take one rip.
Also you don't have to buy BHO. There is also wax made with CO2 that doesn't contain any impurities. It's a little weaker (60%-75% THC) and about $10 more a gram but I prefer it. It definitely tastes better.

Yet you are the one calling names and throwing insults when someone disagrees with you? Let's not forget that you implied that a toxic dose of THC is a real thing.

Maybe I need to look into other means. Right now I can't sleep without an opiate of some sort in my system. Withdrawals are a bitch. But I'm usually on Norco, and it acts as an upper for me. Tramadol will knock me out...after awhile, but I have to take somewhere around 600mg at one sitting for it to even think about producing an effect. I need 60mg of Norco right now to be comfortable for more than 1 hour.
I apparently have a major enzyme issue that we cant figure out. My tolerance levels escalate at an amazing rate. It happens with all medications, but it's the worst with opiates. My doctor actually said a scientific study needs to be done on me because neither he, nor his industry friends, have ever heard of someone like me. Earlier this year I went from needing a single 10mg Norco to give me relief for 2.5 hours to needing 60mg of oxycodone for the same effect.
How long did that take? 5 months. Norco for 2. Percocet for 2. Then Oxy for 1. I actually needed the Oxy sooner, but I tried to stay on both Norco and Percocet a month too long.
All of that being said.
Any advice on pain relief and sleep? I have a bad hip, bad shoulder, and joint nerve pain that is excruciating (when I'm withdrawing from Opiates). I need to do something else. All of this acetaminophen is wrecking my body.

Damn, sorry about your pain issues, but you don't sound that much different from anyone else I've known to take opiates for 5 months straight. I've known people that go from getting high on a couple tabs to having to snort 300+ milligrams a day of oxy.
No study necessary my man. Get help and kick the junk. Good luck

I think that there's likely some hope in medical marijuana for your pain relief and sleep issues. The main issue, as you seem to already recognize, will be in seperating the pain/discomfort of your opiate withdrawal from the actual pain/discomfort from your injury/condition.
Legitimate chronic pain issues suck in this day and age for so many reasons, not the least of which is that some doctors overprescribe opiates as a panacea. Then there are the issues of people looking at chronic pain sufferers as normal "junkies" who are just using their "pain" as an excuse to get high.

I'm saying it was really 3 months, not 5. My dad has been one the same dose of Norco for 3 years, and it's still effective for him. Sooo.....
That being said, I hear your point. I wish I could kick it. But everytime I think I can my hip and shoulder say "Nah, not happening".
Adderall somewhat helps, but I'm getting used to it too. I'm at 60mg on that.
Was just thinking, some of this stuff being talked about may be a good alternative.

Absolutely. Anything is better than taking opiates for an extended period of time, especially THC. if you live in an area that could provide that, I would check it out, or just get it yourself if not.

You're taking addy for pain?
You on xanax as well?
You sound a lot like an old friend of mine (now finally clean) who had cancer as a child. It completely wrecked his body and gave him all sorts of issues, but he had a quack who overprescribed him everything (opiates, adderall, and benzos). He ended up eventually getting completely strung out because he has an extremely abusive personality and high tolerance for everything.
It was a complete downward cycle for him that ended up with him having psychotic breaks brought about by the benzos, his wife leaving him, and him eventually getting put into a facility. He's now, thankfully, clean for the most part with just small maintenance doses.
The problem was that he felt completely legitimate in his usage because it was all prescribed and he does have some underlying health issues. in the end, though, his addiction was the MAIN issue with which he was dealing.
Whenever he'd have to go home to get his pain medication, it wasn't because he was actually in pain. It was because he was starting to go into withdrawals.
