Could there be a possibility of this getting Eric Hyman fired?

You know, because he has FULL CONTROL over who is hired and fired at A&M? (Still waiting for his dumbass to hire or fire a coach)

Why would this get him fired?

Honest question: what are the central job responsibilities of the AD at A&M? What real power does the AD have?

That's my point. He's literally being paid to collect a paycheck. He doesn't do a fricking thing!

We could have an empty chair in the office and the results would be the same.

The power to give TCU an advantage.

Fundraising. And hiring non-football personnel.

He has yet to hire a single individual that matches this description...or anyone for that matter.

Who should he have fired aside from perhaps Kennedy?

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but possibly Jo Evans.

Prior to this season I would have said Corbelli as well.

Like it or not, Hyman is well liked and respected by most within the AD.

That's because he gave them free tickets to the ever-exciting CBI tournament in 2014.

Isn't the AD basically just an accountant trying to keep the department in the black? Not that there is anything wrong with that. But I don't think anybody believes he hires/fires coaches on his own.

The AD should be in charge of hiring for minor sports.

Bill Byrne hired Billy Kennedy on his own. I doubt the donors know enough about basketball to pick that one for him.

Why Evans? I don't follow softball much but I do know she took a team to the WCWS 4-5 years ago.

The softball team has been below .500 in conference every year since we joined the SEC.

That's hardly fair. Looking at this year alone, the top 3 ranked teams and 5 of the top 10 were SEC. Florida won it all. By contrast the top-ranked B12 team was #12 OU. The SEC rules softball and has for a while.
