On visit to Georgia

quote:

“Georgia was Georgia," he said. "It was the same place, just the people have changed, so we spent a lot of time with Kirby (Smart) with our in-home last week and on this visit.”

On Florida and Georgia

quote:

“Both places are pro-style offenses, they are both SEC-East schools, we like both coaching staffs, we are so far away from those two schools, we have not been caught up in all the rivalry between them yet," he said.

On Jacob's decision

quote:

“I think there is one made, but we are going to look at it a little more and I think something should be out soon,” Tony Eason said.

This is all for show brotha. His dad is heavily involved in JE's recruitment. He's been to Athens with his son more than once. He has been to Gainesville exactly zero times.

Unless that guy makes last second trip to Gainesville before Eason makes his "decision" the kid will obviously be taking his talents to Athens where he will most likely become the next Mathew Stafford.

I think Jacob Eason has the most punchable face of this recruiting season.

The longer this goes on the better it looks for Florida

What's your deal man? For a gator fan who presumably lives in Georgia, I would expect more animosity haha

Kirby Smart was pleased with Eason's visit.

quote:

"Thank goodness, I was able to walk into a situation where he was hand-delivered," Smart said. "He was already here. We just had to make sure we could convince him that this was the right place for him."

quote:

“I think his visit went great this weekend," Smart said

So many signs pointing to Florida now. This is so depressing.

Eason had such a good time he still hasn't told Kirby he's going to Florida

He just hasn't come to terms with the flip yet so he's putting out them positive vibes so he doesn't have to deal with reality.

Eason and Hardman are uga bound. IMO losing a WR and QB assures that imo.

Dont get me wrong. I dont like UGA. But my love for Florida doesnt have to get in the way of being objective when it comes to recruiting and football.

Eason looks like a Stafford clone to me. He'll probably follow his career trajectory too - go to Georgia, party hard and bang some sorostitutes, start for three years but win absolutlely nothing of significance, then get drafted in the first round based on his physical skills.

I could have started at QB and won that sugar bowl.

Stafford's greatest victory in Athens was probably Kelly Hall. Got her some boltons with that first NFL paycheck and she is a real trophy.

Dawgs offense didn't need to take the field to beat the Hawai'i Warriors. Brennan ran for his life and is still running.

Eason is all UG. This is just silliness. We were just late to the party. It's not a big deal.

Good luck to the kid. Gators need to be happy with Trask and Franks. Not a bad haul at all.

Del Rio just needs to get us through until either Franks is ready or Grier gets back and then see what happens. I'm just excited that Treon is done with the forward pass thingy at UF.
