Damn, there goes our top recruiting class.

As if we needed more speed bumps on the recruiting trail.

What's your point?

Don't worry, Hev is on the trail.

Honestly, not as bad as you might think. Pretty sure Knott is the only guy he is the primary recruiter for. We shouldn't lose anyone because of this is what I'm saying.
If we don't get Simmons/Knott/anyone else Tony leaving will not be the reason.

all of our big fish, the entire staff is recruiting so he isn't the primary for any uncommitted prospect. He was the primary for Roberson though (TE from GA) but I doubt this has very much affect on him though
ETA: and he hasn't made any offers in the 2017 class either

Hevesey would be more effective managing the team recruiting FB page as opposed to home visits.. Sending friend requests and what not..

You give Hev 4 years and he will turn you into a 7th round draft pick.

Pretty sure Roberson has already enrolled.

Hughes is the guy Mullen sent to the big prospects. Hughes didn't even have a recruiting "area" anymore. Just sent to whoever.

He didn't have an area anymore because he was the recruiting coordinator. It was his responsibility to control and distribute said areas. He was basically propped up with a fancy title to get him a HC or DC job, this isn't unexpected by the staff.
Interested to see who replaces him. I know jack shite about who the hot Safety coaches on the market are.

You're pushing for a coach at Louisville
ETA: Recruiting coordinators can still have areas. Ours works Tennessee with a focus on Memfus

Terrell Buckley from Lousiville seems to be the top choice. He's from Pascagoula and recruits Mississippi for Lousiville. Got 1 kid last year and 3 this year.

Are their safeties better than ours?
No offense to coach Hughes, but our safeties haven't exactly been lights out. Seems like we are always an injury away from them sucking arse. Sure as hell a lot of talent for the new guy to work with when he steps in.

To hell with a safeties coach, hire the best recruiter we can get.
Give the safeties to DT and just call it secondary coach.
