"Better NFL career" - the go-to for LSU fans. Sorry your college team blows.
I've often wondered why LSU fans just don't start pulling for the Saints instead. They seem so interested in NFL football even while the college season is still going on.

Many LSU fans pull for both, moron. Is it really that difficult to understand?

Bama fans seem so fascinated by the fact that some states actually have both pro teams and college teams. And they actually pull for both at the same time. Truly amazing stuff for a gump.

I don't understand how LSU fans don't fail to grasp that while there is young talent, when Drake went down there wasn't anyone reliable left. We lost a lot of depth in this class. You didn't see he 40+ caries when Drake was healthy did you?
Watch your lambasting tone when assessing an LSU fan's incoherence. Silliness displayed above is ironic.
Although I will admit the LSU fan chose to dangle a participle or two.

90 carries
People need to relax. How many catches and kick returns did he have last two game? Zero? Alright then
If an RB has 72 carries in two games no one freaks. If that same RB had 12 catches and 4 returns over two games for a total of 88 touches people would talk about how versatile he is. Give a guy 90 carries and people want to put it as a negative on Saba - as if he calls the play and is if there is a problem.
Eta: McCaffrey had 43 touches against USC and 37 against Notte Dame. 80 touches in two weeks but no one blinks about it.

Can you please start a thread on how great the defenses in the SEC West are?
It would help a lot of us feel better about ourselves.
Henry is an Ethiopian man's version of Rudy Johnson and Brandon Jacobs. Yawn.

They don't care, and honestly He has a better YPC than past Heisman's
Uh, no it's more like one of the worst YPC in (modern) heisman contender history. Henry has 5.86 ypc. LF7 6.42, Cook 7.86... Henry would be like 75th in the country sorted by yards per carry (this season). He'd have the weakest YPC in the last 20ish years I believe.

Don't give them facts.
Derrick Henry ran over LF7, because it was offense v offense in our game.

Not Henry's fault booger laid down like a bitch in the biggest game of his life.

This is such bullshite and you know it. 3 of 4 of Henry's lowest rushing totals this year came against the "cream puffs" on the schedule.
18 carries for 96 yards against Middle Tennessee state.
13 carries for 52 yards against Lousiana Monroe.
9 carries for 68 yards against Charleston Southern.
The other low total was against Arkansas for 95 yards. Every other game was against an SEC opponent and Wisconsin, and that is where Henry gained all of his big totals.
If Bama was looking to pad stats just for a Heisman, they would have easily done it against the cream puffs. But sorry to ruin your story with the truth.

Umm...vs Auburn in the fourth it was pretty shameful. Game was over. Henry still getting carries. You guys even went for it on fourth down.

He wasn't a Heisman candidate when you played the cream puffs.

That's called running the clock out to end the game. Drake wasn't playing that game, and Saban did not trust the other backs so Henry got all of those runs at the end. If Bama had called passes at the end you would probably accuse Saban of running up the score.
Bama did the same thing against LSU to end it (a 9 minute drive that was all runs and ran the length of the field). Rather than pad stats or run up the score, they ended that drive with knees to end the game.

Charleston Southern he was he leading Heisman candidate going into it (this game was after the LSU and Mississippi State games). And the Charleston Southern game was his lowest number of carries of the year.
And if I recall there were some dumbass sports analysts who after that game said he had a subpar game because of his totals (never mind the fact that the game was put away in the first quarter and he didn't play after that).
So Saban almost cost Henry the Heisman by specifically not padding stats.

Oh stop. His last nine carries against LSU were not needed.
Maybe you guys should have tried to stop him, then.
Your suggestions for changing a winning game plan is laughable, under the circumstances that actually happened. Is ball control and time of possession really THAT difficult to understand???

I guess letting McCaffrey pass the ball is a normal part of the gameplan.

Wonder what numbers they're using for Gordon because it's not matching up with football reference or cfbstats which show 7.5 ypc.
Either way Gordon feasted on cupcakes and terrible defensive teams like no one else.
