I’m a republican. Trump is playing long term game in a country that lives in the here and now.
They’ll reverse the tariffs and they’ll end the War with Iran if it’s not already over. Fuel definitely fuels the economy. It’s naive to think someone can’t come in and reverse this mess. However they do so playing the short game.

Besides the 2007 Arkansas loss I have not been so pissed at LSU that I can recall. 2007 Kentucky was pretty pathetic too. Go Tigers????

The Gus Bus left and they’ve not been the same since. Periodically winning big games and going 9-3 and 8-4 wasn’t good enough for them. So they are now mired in whatever funk they are in.

He must have made an impression on Joe Brady when Joe Brady was on the Saints staff in a supporting role. It’s extremely possible that Pete did a good job in assisting with the game planning.
I do recall that in 2012 when Payton was suspended Pete was the OC and the offense was actually quite good. Drew Brees of course makes people better.

LSU’s offensive line in 2025 was historically bad. They were at times manhandled by teams like Southeastern, WK and even NSU. SEC teams ate LSU QBs.
Those players may have been rated higher coming in but they were apparently “ruined” by the soft culture. LSU couldn’t get a yard from the one yard line so many times it’s amazing.

This is just a sad post. Let’s celebrate the guy’s turn-around. He’s been given an opportunity and I think he’s done a great job of finishing the season.
I’m an LSU fan but I’m proud of him for turning his life around. I wish him well and hope they do ok next year.
