I hope he leaves because the chance you get a coach as good as Mullen in Starkville is really low. He is the only reason that State isn't the Vandy of the West. Just like Freeze is for us.

Not doubt about it that the chances are state is gonna to get a up and coming coach. We might get lucky or maybe not. Mullen still hasn't left so this is pre mature. If he does go, I would try to get richt

Not a chance in hell...Mullen doesnt have the personality to recruit Miami. Would be another BUST hire for them, and thats why its not going to happen.

Not any more. Everything from the stadium to the school administration screams failure.
In 1995 or maybe even 2005 the Miami job could have been a place to win a championship. In 2015, the Miami job is Memphis with a beach.

Good God. No. Dan Mullen is not going to leave Starkville and bring his wife and young children to take a paycut and live in the drug kingpin of the U.S. Georgia is probably the only option out there that makes sense.

Mullen is a good coach. He has a hard gig now and has done a good job with the resources he has.

I don't understand why he would leave State for Miami---unless he just wants a new challenge. Maybe he's frustrated with recruiting success now that Dak's leaving? Feels like he's losing on the field and in recruiting to Ole Miss? Don't really get it though.
