re: Alabama's best win?

Alabama does not have a signature win this year. Full stop. However, they've arguably played as tough a schedule as most of the top teams. Why? They have played four 9-3 teams and three 8-4 teams. While none of those wins are as singularly impressive as Michigan State's win over Ohio State, for instance, they do show a level of consistency across the span of the season that is arguably as impressive as one signature win (e.g. Ohio State over Michigan) and nine mediocre ones.

So butthurt.
Assuming Bama beats UF Saturday, I guess that we'll just have to see how the playoffs shake out and who the champ will be. Your theory has a pretty good chance of being put to the test, right?
And then if Bama wins it all, you will just move the goalposts again.

Saban processed his schedule.

Remember a few years back when we faced Kirk Cousins? Anyone think he would make it in the league? When we faced Tyrod Taylor?

Cousins got his shite pushed in in the Citrus Bowl. Why couldn't that 2010 team play with that same focus all year?

It was probably the win against that other team from Louisiana. Beating LSU has become the second nature. LA Monroe was more competitive in the last two games.

You consider a win over a three-loss Michigan team a "signature win?"

One of my favorite memories of that game was Saban getting mad when Lacy broke free. And Upshaw just being all-world that day.

Correct now who was Ohio states best win because until Michigan State which was a loss they had played no top 25 teams. Now they have beaten Michigan who is getting credit for not having played any top 25 teams except Michigan state who they lost to. Don't get me wrong the rest of you crapping the bed and rolling in it has definitely hurt the brand but it's not like the big ten is a good conference. Iowa is ranked where they are and have not beaten a top 25 team this year or if they have the team wasn't ranked all year.

Cowherd had a valid point.
He doesnt.
Ohio State played who? They struggled vs Indiana, Northern Illinois and Minnesota, then lost to Mich St without their starter
OU lost to Texas, struggled vs Baylor and TCU when they were missing key players.
Clemson should have lost to ND and barely beat a very bad S. Carolina team.
Iowa???...No comment
So Bama is that much worse than these teams in his opinion?

Ohio State faced one NFL QB....oops...they actually lost to both his backups. Name me the NFL QB that they faced this year?
Oklahoma....name me the NFL QB they faced this year?
Clemson? Kizer is the only guy that was good and they should have lost the game.
Again...Bama is the team that didnt face a NFL draftable QB this year??

Chad Kelley was the best and we know how that ended
Yep, we lost. Team didnt fold and we are on the brink of winning back to back SEC titles.
DEAL WITH IT!

These are all ranked teams
Those teams were all ranked because they all back loaded their schedule because of what happened last year. It's easy to be highly ranked when your first 8 or 9 games are the little sisters of the poor. The big 12 is the most pretend conference ever. Big 10 did something similar. Easy to be highly ranked Ohio state when you play your first ranked team November 21st.

My point is that you guys seem to be over confident. The SEC sucks this year and to think ya'll are going to just coast to a national championship is absurd.
Now I know you're full of shite. Bama fans have not said that Bama would coast to the NC. It's been quite the opposite. You jackasses make shite up and then post it like it's true. You must be an LSU fan.

You can talk about quality wins, bad losses, etc etc etc. At the end of the day, if you win your in

Well after watching the FSU game, I know it's definitely not Florida.

This thread is hilarious. With a win Saturday Bama will be 9-1 against teams ranked in the top 40 of Sagarin's computer rankings. Ohio State is 1-1.
