I again apologize for my terrible ignorance. I was at the game last night and couldn't believe how loud the music was blared between the Ags offensive plays. Is this a new thing? Isn't that what bands are for? They stopped just before the snap and it was some of the worst "music" I've ever heard

it kinda bugged me how it was happening between plays but whatever, they could have played much worse music

The music was the only thing loud about last night. I understand it wasn't a full crowd, but I expected more.

I think the piped in music is horrific. WE got it from Bama apparently, because they are even worse with it. I think this is the first year I have heard it between plays. Takes the college atmosphere out of it and causes fans to just sit and listen to it versus yelling. Thats the one thing I appreciated about the Atm atmosphere. You seem to be more involved with less effort. I blame it on the oversized corporate crowd. There are a lot of business owned blocks in the stadium now that half the people aren't LSU fans.
The Thanksgiving crowd is always a tame crowd with a lot of no shows or families. I know our group was half adults and half kids. Look forward to seeing the finished Kyle field next year. Good luck in the bowl game.

Came in here to say this. This is the first time I've really noticed them piping in between every play. It's usually just on 3rd downs. But the first time I noticed it was at the Bama game. So I firmly believe we have picked that up to cause more noise leading up to the play. Do Not Support.

Looking forward to Thanksgiving next year, as well. For all the vitriol back and forth on this site, my experiences with y'all in person have been pretty cool.

Texas ATM catches a lot of flack for being different. Don't necessarily enjoy the yell leaders and some of the quirky traditions but I do respect that ATM doesn't give a shite what you think about their traditions. You have a passionate and educated fan base that fits in well with the sec. I enjoy the gAme atmosphere. Always have since the late 80's when j was a kid and went to my first game at Kyle field.

I personally feel the piped in music between downs when you are trying to run a HUNH is way unsportsmanlike.

I actually thought it was pretty cool. I agree it was probably done because it wasnt a sell out and they were trying to get some extra noise in there, but I was sitting next to the student section and it seemed to get the fans around me hyped up and loud.
