And it would be the most Kentucky thing ever to accept a bowl invite with a 5-7 record.

Any self respecting school would turn down a bowl with a losing record.

It's going to be pretty bad having 5-7 teams in bowls. I love CFB, and I'm all for having bowl games even if it is Middle Tennessee vs Akron I'll watch. However, the number of bowls has gotten out of control. It needs to be cut back to 35. That way 70 teams have to be bowl eligible. Right now I think at least 9 teams out of 14 need to win to have enough 6 win teams to fill out the bowls. Probably won't happen. On that note if I'm Kentucky there is no way I turn down extra practice time. Hopefully, Kentucky whips trashy Petrino so they don't have to worry about it.

No team with underclassmen taking majority of the snaps is going to turn down an extra month of practice.
