frick football, frick basketball, frick Gus, frick JJ, frick Sean White (5'-10") and frick our offense that is the biggest anomoly in the past 10 years.
How is everyone? Ive been busy as hell and will be for about 6 more weeks. Should get a break in January where I may hit the Keys for the first time.
Oh and screw all this rain coming to the peach state today. Lake Lanier will be out of the banks.

I'm already waiting for beer thirty to get here.

What do the fish do when this happens? Our Coosa River fish follow the water up and get into the dirt. Guy won our club tourney on Logan Martin couple of weeks ago in the rain catching spots on a buzzbait and rattletrap in about a foot of water.

Our winter bite is probably our best fishing of the year. The big spots group up for the only time of the year and we catch them in the ditches and timber in 40-50 feet of water. Working a jig or worm in that timber deep is awesome.
But when the water is so high, some of them will come shallow which hurts the deep bite. Scatters them out too much. I like it 5-10 feet down in the winter. But for the 3rd year in a row, it will be full. Sucks
We still catch them, but we have to work a lot harder.

for a fisherman such as yourself, you will love the keys man. I've been probably 8 times or so and the fishing rarely disappoints (if that's even what you're going down for, there is other fun stuff to do as well)

Mobile QB. Let's turn into the '95 Nebraska team.

I start shaking nervously if my depth finder reads anything over 10ft. You can get away with that here though.

I doubt I will go fishing on this trip. Probably just roam around with the wife looking and relaxing. We are looking for a retirement area.... I have some info but will probably just freelance around and check out the scene. All depends on how busy I am in January.
I have a client who lives there and has helped a bunch. He also has clued me in on some of the fishing there. I will get my fill of that later.

Busy. Working 5-6 days a week at the hospital. Last Saturday was the first I've had off in about 10 weeks. Taking off for the Iron Bowl to go tailgate with some friends.

I think I am having a mid life crisis and this damn season is supposed to be my distraction from it... now yall are bragging about getting to go fishing all the time. I'm gonna have to find a heavy bag or bammer sparring partner or something.

She is doing fine. Still in the sling but started physical therapy last week. Other than a little extra bitching and complaining, pretty much normal.

Life is going good. Knee surgery in a couple weeks but everything else is golden.
Feel free to sneak me in your luggage on that trip Lanier.

A guy who drinks beer and not workout in his free time shouldn't play sports. Lesson learned

Damn dude. that sucks. And I dont know that a guy who does not work out will fit in my luggage.
Probably will go with a carry on, back pack and small bag of goodies from the airport. Then come back with nothing.
I have actually done that before.
