One of the 8 ties, should really be an Auburn victory. Seems like the refs favored Georgia from way back. 1899, the game was called for darkness by some ref named Rowbotham. Auburn was winning 11-6, driving on Georgia's 20 yd line with 30 seconds left in the game. Rowbotham stopped the game, erased the scores and made it 0-0 tie.

Even the Georgia players were angry that Auburn wasn't credited with the win-

quote:

Here’s their halfback, last name of Young, talking to the Journal: “Auburn won the game by hard work and should have been given it. It was very distressing that the game should have been called when it was, and no one stands more ready to accord the men from Alabama a victory—a clean, hard-fought-for victory—than I and other members of the Georgia eleven.”

Oh, and most of the players on Georgia weren't even students and should have been ineligible.

Oh what has happened to our society since then? There use to be a thing called integrity. And it was more important that winning. Those days are long gone.
