Bama would beat Ole Miss 9outof10. And I've said that since the day after that game not because we got our shite kicked in by them last night.

No. Every team has good games and bad games. If you played 10 more times Ole Miss would win 2 or 3 of them. It's an upset for sure, but not a total fluke.

No way. Ole Miss is clearly a better team and would win 100/100 times we play.

It wasn't a fluke. Alabama didn't play their best game and weren't prepared for a hard fought game but it certainly wasn't a fluke. That loss focused Alabama and made them play much harder.

Even if it were a fluke, it doesn't matter. You still lost. A weakness was exploited and you lost. If a rematch happened, Alabama would likely win. On that Saturday, though, they lost.

Fluke sort of implies that OM didn't deserve to win so I personally don't like that word. They deserved to win.

I think the overall sentiment is that if that game were played 10 times Bama would probably win 8 or 9 of them. Bama is a better team overall. But in this league if you turn the ball over and play poorly teams like OM will capitalize and will beat you.

In short, here's a Bama fan that won't try to take anything away from the Rebels

Always said it was a fluke, but now I view it as a thorough fluke

In my assessment, it is completely over, and we control our own destiny. Ole Miss played well, and we did not. We made a shite ton of mistakes and they capitalized. If we played again, yes I think we would win, but they were the better team on that day.

The only things in the game that were flukey were the no call on illegal lineman down field and the no look pass by Kelly.

Losing to Ole Piss two years in a row is the definition of an anomaly. So yes it was a fricking fluke.

Alabama was not playing very well that time of the season. They've gelled and are clicking much better now.

OM is not improving at all. Other teams are getting better, but OM is not.

If Alabama and OM play again now, yes, Alabama wins.

Next year, if OM wins again, is it another fluke like the past two years? Maybe Alabama isn't gelled or playing well to that point.

The questions of "fluke" is irrelevant.

No fluke. Turn the ball over 5 times to any SEC opponent and you probably lose the game.

Nah. Bama is a very good team and a great program. But they tend to lose a game most years, even years they win it all. And often it is to 2nd or borderline 1st tier teams like TAMU or Ole Miss. So it is not a fluke for them to lose one.
