With Richts job status for next year seemingly dependent on the next 4 weeks, im curious to know if anyone in the fire Richt crowd is gonna be pulling against us. Its seems ridiculous but is this really what its come to?

I get 12 to 14 times a year to root for georgia every year. I'm not going to waste one opportunity to root against my team and alma mater.
That being said, if the loss ends the Richt era then I'll at least feel like one good thing came of a scenario where we lost to fricking UK.
Dream scenario involves a win so ugly that it forced their hand

Yes. And you have to look at the bright side of the situation.
There's no nerves before the game any more or wasting time being pissed afterwards now if we lose. That ship has sailed. So it's a whole new way to enjoy the game.
And, it helps you enjoy the rest of the day of football..... which looks like it's going to be a good one.

That's exactly how I see it. This season is already a failure, I'm either going to see a win or the end of the Rich my era and then a day of actually decent football.
Never been happier for an early kick

Richt will be back next year so there isn't any need to keep starting a new thread about it every 20 minutes about it

Not no but tell no.....I pulled for us during the. Goff years and I I have sworn. I was going to quit following CFB. Altogether but I ain't got it in me....

I hope we win because losses suck but I see the benefit to losing out.

I pull for wins and laugh insanely when we shite the bed. Not a good insane laugh, but a for real insane laugh. Like Ted Bundy in a sorority house laughter.
Then I go outside and mill lumber. That helps with the thoughts...

Any thoughts on the possibility of breaking out black jerseys on Saturday? This was announced as the "blackout" game before the season and i firmly believe the "curse" needs to be broken. It also seems like a very dangerous time where a loss would likely put them away forever.

A guy I know who is a big Gator fan wore red and black to the WLOCP last year and cheered for Georgia because he wanted a loss to trigger Muschumps firing. He said he was actually pissed when we played so poorly and lost.

Sidewalk UGA fans that don't donate, didn't go there, and have no chance for their kids to get into the school will probably root against the team. Any POS person that roots against UGA during any Saturday, isn't a true fan.

That guy sounds like a d bag.

I could never pull for anything but a Dawg victory . If I did other wise I wouldn't consider myself a true fan.

Never have and never will root against UGA. I'll pretend I won't care about the game and, just like every Saturday, I'll end up looking forward to watching the Dawgs even when I know it'll be an ugly game.
You only get a certain number of chances to watch them and, come February (or January
) you know you'll wish you could turn on the tv and watch some UGA football.
If we lose to UK, we likely don't win another game this season. They're struggling and they're missing their RB, Williams. A loss to them would easily be our worst of the season, and that's saying something.

I've never hoped for Georgia to lose. I did join some jaded Georgia fans and applauded Vandy after the 2006 loss. They were actually stunned when they won that game.

frick that attitude. I saw someone cheering against us this weekend too when we started playing poorly. Why do you even waste your time caring if that's your attitude.

Never would I pull against the Dawgs. Put money down against them, you bet, but that is my head not my heart. But even with money down, I still pull for them. Strange I know.
I think Schultz's column on AJC summed it up - the last 4 games and Eason shouldn't have anything to do with the decision, the die should be cast. Unfortunately with our admins, it probably is not which is another problem and a larger one.

I can't help but pull for UGA on every play of every game but, after each miserable loss inflicted on our players by moronic coaching, I'm relieved that change is just around the bend.
