Where should we hang out before the game on Saturday? Northgate or Bryan? Any suggestions for a lunch spot Saturday? TIA

How old are you? Northgate is awesome, but an old person might not be a fan. Bryan is like 15 minutes from campus when considering traffic.

In my experience you should show up at game time and sit in the stadium(its pretty awesome). The rest of the campus is a dry dusty tundra.

If I'm there the beer is my treat

I've partied a few times at the 3 story bar, is it corner bar? Got a lot going in in there.

I've spent the last few months there working. Addicted to Fuegos tacos.

Just don't eat there. Ptomaine tavern.

Hit up Northgate where there's plenty of bars to choose from. Bryan, unless you're staying there, wouldn't be on my "must-do" list.

Try torchys if you get a chance. Even better IMO

Fuego is definitely awesome. I think the burgers at Chicken Oil Co., about a mile behind northgate are the best. Same owner and recipe as the Dixie Chicken, but they're just better.

Heard about Torchys as well. Another guy was telling me about Bryan Good Exchange and how awesome their tacos were.

Most weekends you'd stick out I guess, but on game weekends there are plenty of older Ags that are in town for the game.

Same ever time I head up to CS that's where I want to go. Might have to get me a death burger next Saturday.

Yup. Best burger in Texas.

Upvote. We ate there Friday and I had one of the better burgers I've had in a good long time.
I wanted to check out Fargo's BBQ after listening to Gabe salivate over them for years, but figured there was no way we'd get in. We ate at Rudy's BBQ after the game and surprisingly didn't have a problem getting in. The brisket was just so-so, though.

I think it's called mad hatters in the bar district. Serve a hell of a Bloody Mary to start gameday off right.

Fargos is definitely worth the trip into Bryan.
