You made the claim, so burden of proof lies with you.
You've obviously heard the claim somewhere to make it here or is it just an assumption
Sorry that you're butthurt that one of the long standing rivalries is one of the biggest money makers.
Neither Alabama nor Tennessee has to offer tickets for $5 to fill their stadiums.

It's not about being butthurt, it would be an extraordinary accomplishment if true given the irrelevance of one side of the rivalry in modern history whether it be Bama or Tennessee

Well I looked up last years games and it wasn't even top 15 (USC UT was 13th)

I want to know how exactly that one game, and the amount of viewers in Nashville, made one more penny for the SEC than if no one watched the game?
Truly a pointless stat

Nationally, the Alabama - Tennessee game was the highest rated college game of the weekend, and only the second time this season the CBS SEC game has topped the charts. The first was Alabama - Georgia.

Don't bother.

It's a lie. Bammer controls the media just like they control the refs.

Does Big Vol Daddy count as 1 or 15 households?

Now go look at the numbers when Tennessee was not down. Pre 2008

Hell any non-Tennessee fan not watching us this year is missing one helluva game. We've been exciting to watch every game even if the results haven't gone in our favor (the one dull one was Arky and that was due more to Arky's plodding offense). This team is a lot of things but it delivers the goods when it comes to fun games to watch. They're made for ratings.

You mean when Alabama was down?
That's the point. His assertion doesn't hold up

I did, I have no idea what data you guys are looking at because the ratings show TSIO isn't anywhere near as big as other SEC games
