Opponents bye week before Bama

During the A&M game I saw the stat were 26 opponents had bye weeks before playing Bama and no one else had more than 10. This past week Tenn made it 27. All this while Alabama has had one of the impressive runs in football. Will this be a forgotten stat or does it add to the accomplishments of what Saban has done at Alabama? Why hasnt anyone else had to deal with what Alabama has in terms of opponents off bye weeks?

UTk has been an extra bye week for Bama for the past decade.

Who does Alabama normally schedule their bye in front of?

LSU does the same so..... but thats not answering the question about the disparity of the numbers.

Blame your scheduling department. They must suck. Sorry your people suck.

Gives REC more time to sabotage opposing teams game plans with spies and shite. Saban ordered it personally despite the protests of the LSU athletic dept

You realize that WHO you play is a little bit more important than when you play them? Do you want to take a look at Alabama's cross-divisional schedule?

Are there actually any stats that show teams coming off a bye week have an advantage?
Seems like a bye week could actually kill the momentum of a team that's on a roll.
Not that UT is on a roll, mind you.

Teams need the extra week to prepare for the refs.

I heard those teams are 27-0 on their bye week. Way to crush them!

Yes but why do the gumps do this? Seems they have 27 reasons not to?

This fact has just destroyed bama in the win-loss column

How is that relevant to the fact that Bama has faced nearly 3x as many bye week rested teams as the next closest SEC team?
Has LSU faced 27 bye week rested teams?
