Build a fence on the border? Heck, maybe it's needed around B/CS?

Longhorns disguised as LSU fans showed up to root against Aggie volleyball.
The Ags swept the Tigers.
As was succinctly posted on TA:

Roundtrip bus ride from Austin to Aggieland... $1500
36 tickets to volleyball game... $325
Seeing your former rival beat the team you painted yourself like... Priceless

That's weird even for 'sips. My guess is legit LSU fans who knew "hook'em" would piss off the Aggies.

ETA: That's a scary damn pumpkin.

The level of obsession here is kinda disturbing.

I mean, I loathe me some horns just as much as the next Ag, but attending a sporting event where they weren't playing my school is just absurd to me. Hell, I even wore a green shirt when I went to a baylor game with my sister.

Dressing as the opposing fanbase just to piss them off is beyond lunacy.

Amazing

OK, I acquiesce. They're sips.

What makes it even weirder is it's for a volleyball game. What in the what?

With football in the garbage can, volleyball is sips' marquee athletic event

Is it weird I have no feeling at all towards this. I almost didn't even give enough of a shite to say I didn't give a shite. It just seems so pointless.

Not at all.
I felt the same.
I posted it out of incredulity, as much as anything.

Well said. I agree.

As badly as I wanted the SEC move to happen for us, the one thing I thought I'd miss was the texas game/rivalry. That hasn't happened at all. I look forward to every SEC West game like I used to look forward to the texas game.

It's awesome the way things are now.

I don't miss the game for the same reason, every SEC game feels like that one game a year used to feel like. I'll take eight over one any day. That being said I do want it back in the future, it's just not right that it isn't played. Oh well they'll get over their chapped arse sooner or later.

I posted a query on shaggybevo. I suspect my new membership will be short-lived.
