Miles is going nowhere....our administration loves him. There are plenty of programs who thought the grass was greener and it has bit them in the arse. He is a very consistent coach, that has the program in tip top shape...from top to bottom. There are so many things this man does off the field too that also makes him and EXCELLENT head coach. LSU knows they are lucky to have him. Aint.going.nowhere.

Les Miles will coach at LSU as long as he wants. Beating Alabama will not determine his job status this year or next year or the next.

Bama is one game out of eleven. Winning or losing that game does not and should not determine the fate of a coach.

Miles has 50 games under his belt at lsu where they were ranked 5th or better in the nation. So I'm going to say no.

You pretty much answered your own question in your post. Miles' job would only be in jeopardy if his LSU teams started losing 5 or 6 games every year.

No one was expecting this year to be the year so the answer is no

This would be a streak now and I am wondering how much patience there is in Baton Rouge. And I like and respect Les Miles so I am not down on him.
Miles is safe, safe, safe. Plus, he engineered a nice buyout a few years ago, so LSU would be paying him a fortune.
Miles is a top 5-top 10 coach. Look at his record in big games, the number of fourth quarter comebacks LSU has had, his recruiting classes, the fact LSU wins every game they're supposed to win. His biggest problem is he replaced the best coach in the country, who moved on to coach a hated rival.
Look at the team this year and how many of those starters will be back in 2016. And the fact that Miles has put together another top 5 recruiting class to go along with them.
All these jackoffs who gripe about Miles -- realistically, who could LSU get that's better? Saban ain't coming back and do you really want to gamble that Gary Patterson/Art Briles/Chip Kelly would come here? If we make the unlikely dumb move of firing the guy, there's no reason to expect we won't undergo a decade like Tennessee has been through.

LOL no, LSU's best years are ahead..
Currently the #1 recruiting class next season.. LSU finally has a quarterback who is only a sophomore.. the team right now is nothing but freshman and sophomores every where you look. More depth is coming to the dline next season..
LSU should be tremendous

Thread not needed. Bama gonna lose.. Will Sanandaj then leave?

Saban appears to be ramping things down just as Miles appears to be ramping things up. And yes, Alabama might pound us again, and they may not. But it won't be because Les ain't trying or because LSU fans don't have his back. Les is intense and focused. Will that be enough to beat Alabama? Stay tuned.
