Most ignorant statement ever. The 2001 team might be the greatest Miami team ever.

Portis
Shockey
Andre Johnson
Bryant McKinnie
DJ Williams
Vilma
Ed Reed
McGahee

.....frick it

THEY HAD 17 1ST ROUND DRAFT PICKS ON ONE TEAM.

2000 They were 11-1

after the MNC in 2002 they went 12-1 (only losing to Ohio St.)

You're unbelievably off.

Probabtion killed Miami...that and their administration got sick of the Thug U outlaw image that tarnished the reputation of a very good academic school and purposely de-emphasized football. Bama did however knock the wheels off them for a bit and their invincible aura wasn't the same after that.....

yea seriously. Sanctions killed Miami, not the sugar bowl loss. Miami still hung with Nebraska in the orange bowl a few years later.
