No such thing as free money in Las Vegas
People were saying the same thing on this board 2 weeks ago in regards to Georgia -20.5 against Vanderbilt, and Vanderbilt covered pretty easy
Pretty much all of the wise guys in the MSB bet thread are on Arkansas for what its worth

I think Vegas is thinking that Arkansas has to get their shite together at some point. And Bert allegedly knows how to run the ball. And our weakest spot is the running game.

Why would oddsmakers and books purposely set a line that would lose them money?
Las Vegas isn't in the business of losing money. They aren't going to put out a line that will lose them money.
The best modelers, mathematicians, sports minds, and statistical analysts are employed by these books to set the best lines possible. The number they put out is the line for a reason.

The fact that the best modelers and statistical analysts put out A&M -3 in the opener obviously means they still see something in Arkansas here, or are not convinced in A&M.
The -3 opener should be concerning to A&M backers.

Except odds makers are quite wrong quite a lot.

Arkansas matches up with A&M pretty well. It's basically a nightmare matchup for A&M.
But, given all of the Arkansas injuries, it won't matter much. But, don't be too quick to jump on that number.

That was a good spread. My model even said the spread should have been closer to 25. My model had Missouri winning 30-3. I lost money on Mizzou last week.

To be fair, many are gambling with their heart on that one. A&M is pretty despised on these boards right now and they want us to struggle/lose.
