Well, Finebaum did say that their fans "never quit". Guessing he missed those leaving mid way the 4th quarter?
Fair point. I attended some awful games in seasons past and sat until the end still enjoying the experience.
The pouting and "i'm taking my ball and going home!" mentality is irritating. Maybe just a sign of some bandwagon fans after unprecedented success?

Saban is a great coach.....
Today's CFB landscape and ways makes sustained success very difficult. It's actually amazing Saban wins as much as he does, to tell you the truth. With how much parity in the NCAA these days, winning yearly is tough. Especially in the SEC's parity landfill. The SEC hasn't had a repeat Champion since 1998 for good reason. Plus, recruits want instant playign time too. With a rooster of 5 stars, it's a tough sell. That's not even considering all the early Juniors leaving yet. Junior with Senior leadership helps a bunch in CFB, no matter what era your playing in. With major success in today's CFB game, comes major obstacles too.
Saban's constancy is a testament to his ability to run a program well.
