Texas would be such a better fit for the SEC rather than ATM.

Really?

Texas is SIAA member, SIAA disbands
Texas is SWC member, SWC disbands
Texas is B12 member, B12 is least stable P5 and probably disbands in 10 years

Man you don't know shite about texas then

There's a reason they wanted to go to the Pac-12, not the SEC.

Listen closely: They didn't want you.
And the SEC Presidents (not you dingleberries) didn't want them.

The horns wanted their own TV network and to ultimately head west.
They didn't (and don't) want any part of SEC southerness, racism, culture, poor grammar, poverty, stereotypes, political leanings, confederate flags, states filled with nuthin' but backroads, etc.
They're embarrassed by it.
This pipe dream -- "horns to the SEC" -- that continues to cycle back around every few weeks is futile.
And quite honestly, it's embarrassing for those of you who continue to breathe and slobber on the horns' windows.

Leave the conference-level negotiations to the professionals who make decisions based on variables other than cheerleader costumes and best places to drink.
