Auburn's eagles are pretty awesome imo, really cool pregame tradition to see in person

Has the eagle/hawk ever just said to hell with it and flown out of the stadium never to be seen again? AU Record in those games?

I'm pretty sure they starve him during game week. He only eats when he returns from flight.

The Air Force falcon is still flying around Shreveport after taking off during the GT/AF Ind. Bowl.

There was an Eagle that flew across Tiger Stadium but can't remember when .. was before 2003 as that's the season we relocated our seats and I remember being in our old seats below the East uppers. Went from our corner to the student corner (or what WAS the student corner before they moved). Wish I could remember what game it was.

When the eagle flies, Auburn instructs the other team to keep their live mascot off the field of play for its own safety.

True story.

Spirit usually flies the early season games, something about the heat being better for bald eagles than golden eagles
Almost certain it was the Golden that did the game last Saturday.

Yep. Pretty sure they all have small GPS locators on them when released.

The eagles (all three when you count WarEagle VI/Tiger) have a pretty good record on their flights.

Tiger decided she wanted to land on the Auburn sideline instead of coming to the lure in a pregame flight against Vandy.

Spirit has flown into the window of the suites and also flew out behind the old scoreboard, but came back in and finished the flight.

One of them has flown over to the baseball field, but I think that was during a training flight, and not pre-game.

But as someone else has said, they all have GPS trackers on them so they will be found.

Always like your posts on the OB. I have two buddies in louisiana that do it. Been with them on plenty of hunts around the woods where we grew up. If I had the time I would like to do it. Way too time consuming for my life

I'm guessing that you didn't know that Auburn has the Southeastern Raptor Center.

UF should just get a live gator to kill all of your mascots.
