Is it just me or do these teams seem virtually equivalent this year?
- Solid rushing attacks lead by a dominant rusher and a stable of solid backups
- Strong front 7 on defense
- Questionable QB play but playmaking WRs to help
I just don't see much difference between these 3 teams this year. Given the similar schedules and mostly by playing each other, we should get a real bead this year on just what the coaching pecking order is between Richt, Saban, and Miles.

For LSU, it's questionable QB playcalling, IMO. Harris has all the tools to be the best QB in the conference the next two years.
Les and Cam are "bringing him along slowly."
Too slowly? That is a matter for debate.

Bama is probably the best of the 3.
We really don't know bow questionable LSUs QB is, since Les refused to throw the ball last week.

Come on, I am an LSU homer, but this debate has been settled. The exclamation points were placed in the 2011 SEC championship game and on 1/9/12
Saban>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Miles>>>Richt

I posted this exact same thing about LSU and y'all all flipped out

I'm glad the coaches aren't equal

I don't know much about UGA, but I see the comparison. I think LSU and Bama have different strengths on defense. Both are good overall defenses but Bama has the stronger front 7 while LSU has the stronger secondary.

I think LSU (and probably Bama) have better receivers (definitely better depth) than we do. Agree on the questionable QB play. I think Bama has the strongest D line out of the group for sure, and we probably have the best LB core. I think what you're saying overall is pretty fair though.

I'm not sure if Alabama is the best of these 3. I think Coker is holding them back THAT much.

Agree completely with the similarities you named
Still a significant talent gap overall though.
Based on 247's ratings from 2012-2015
# of recruits rated 5*/4*/3*
UA: 21/56/25
LSU: 6/57/34
UGA: 9/43/51
Of course this ignores transfers, players who have left for the NFL, etc.
