It isnt often you see someone committed for so long somewhere open things back up and literally not even reconsider the school they decommitted from. Something big had to have happened.

Shaun Smith is the guy, played at South Carolina and in the NFL for 9 years. I think he took a more prominent role recently but I still don't get how we just completely fell out of it
Everything we hear on our boards when someone asks is that's it's between OM and Bama and nobody else seems to have much of a shot right now

The most logical story and the one that seems to get the most run is he just never hit it off with our new OL coach Christensen (sp?).
If we somehow overachieve this year and win 9 or 10 plus I think he's back in the fold.
And all this talk about handlers just sounds like sour grapes. Saban doesn't need to play that game. We learned during the Kendall Sheffield recruitment that he just outworks our staff.

I mean Smith has come out and said he's "advising" Little on his recruitment. What that means I don't know and it doesn't really matter because I don't think we are above paying people or anything. I could see Smith not getting along with Christensen though and that might be why
I seriously doubt he ends up an Aggie even if we win a national championship

I really don't know what has happened. The strangest part to me is even with Kyler at A&M, all communication is done. Little must really dislike Christensen.

I believe Shaun Smith played with Alabama freshman LB Christian Miller's dad at South Carolina.

There have been wild theories about Little not hitting it off with Christensen. Those are just tall-tales made up because nothing else makes sense.
The other end of that spectrum feels like Smith is going to get six-figures from booster X for school X and funnel a big chunk of that.
