Last week Toledo had to cut their game short because of weather.
The last full game they played was last year in a bowl game against Arkansas State in which they won 63-44.
Toledo is 4-1 the last 5 games same as Arkansas.
They gave Missouri a good game for a half last year.
Sorry, to keep going back to last year, but they haven't played one full game this year.

Another factoid in that they play in the Glass Bowl.

Honestly, I don't think UTEP was a bad team. I don't see another game on their schedule that I don't think they will/can win. TTech, Rice and La Tech appear to be their biggest challenges. But admittedly, I don't don't know a whole lot about FAU, FIU, UTSA etc...

UTEP isn't a bad squad. They'll win 7-8 games and be a bowl team again.

They are expected to compete for a CUSA championship this year.
CUSA appears to be better than in the past, like MWC with Boise, Utah, and TCU better.

They were up 16-7 at the half before their game with Stony Brook, a middle-of-the-pack FCS team, was cancelled. Jones-Moore scored for Toledo on yds runs of 7 and 37 yds. Stony Brook scored on a 2 yd PA pass to the TE.

They have owned OUR other Arkansas school including scoring 60 plus points on them in the bowl game as previously mentioned. They play each other again later this month.
We'll see how things develop but one or two seem to think they have a shot. LINK

Not worried about the offense. Just want the defense to ball out and execute(make tackles)

I hope I'm wrong but I could see this easily being a "too close for comfort" type game. They have had enough success for their kids to believe they have a chance. Hopefully our guys are hungry to prove they are the real deal. Would love to see our running game just pound the crap out of 'em and make 'em like it!

We tend to forget that NIU was a quality, and I do mean quality, team last year. If we had overlooked them they would have added yet another scalp to their tally.
Toledo is NIU a year later. Yeah, you have to show up for the game and play hard or they will beat your arse like a drum. We want to play teams like this in the OOC.
An earned win against a tough opponent is a lot better then a walk through against a team that can't find its arse with both hands and a road map. We beat Toledo as well as we did UTEP... well then now we know how low they hang for this season.
