Basically, who do you think is a player that had (or has) what it takes to win the Heisman in your opinion, but won't ever get the chance because of the team they're on? Basically the diamond in the rough for their team?
List the player and the years he played if you can.

Wow, Dexter had some pretty great stats in that 2009 schedule. Dak's numbers are even better! That 2014 season's very promising.

Wow, that must've hurt him bad back then.

Calvin Johnson, GT mid 2000's. Reggie Ball probably robbed him of the trophy. I watched him play live against Virginia and even with a hip injury was clearly a man among boys.
Brodie Croyle 2002-2005. Had he accepted Stoops offer to OU, he probably would have beeen right in the mix every year (provided he was healthy ).

Yeah, but you have to use punctuation to win the Heisman.

Brad Smith - Mizzou
Put us back on the map with almost zero tools around to help him. I believe he was the first qb to ever throw for 2000 and rush for 1000 in 4 straight years and the first to throw for 8000 and rush for 4000 over his college career. If he had a better line and stable of receivers, who knows what he could have done.

You will never win a punctuation or grammar construction award.

Any Heisman worthy player for UT will be brutally robbed by an atrociously bad choice. UT is the only team to have a player lose out to someone on a losing team (2-9 ND) and the only team to have a player lose out to a defensive player (C. Woodson.) We should have 2 Heismans.

Losing out to a future hall of famer is getting robbed? Nah playa
And he wasn't just a defensive player.

Sounds like one hell of a player. It's always cool to hear about players like that in a time where I wasn't old enough to care about football.

For South Carolina, the only one that comes to mind right now is Pharoh Cooper. Of course that's an easy answer, but I can't think of anyone else.

Calvin Johnson comes to mind. Dak is another example.
