The SEC is diving into a pool of cash like Uncle Scrooge.

We own half of the top 10 in revenue.

Those numbers are off compared to other info posted over the years
For example
For example

The University of Alabama reported $143.4 million in athletic revenue during 2012-13

And the sad thing is Finebaum is making some too off the SEC network.
Meanwhile, ticket prices, concessions, parking, etc. all continue to go up. With the increase from SEC network you would hope they would start to reign in ticket costs for the average joe fan that supports them but I guess the cost to do business keeps going up according to Alleva.

This is just football revenue not overall athletic revenue.

I love it when someone says we are poor. Helps weed out the inept posters.

Then it is not all inclusive of every program. Auburn generated 83.3 million in football revenue in '13-'14

Actually LSU only made 10mm in profit after expenses, ask me how much Bama or A&M made....

Hmm. They must have disqualified programs where the athletics department inappropriately interfered with academic decisions.

They don't give any information as to how they obtained these numbers. Just reporting what the WSJ put out there.

But Aggies are always telling me how much money their football team has. Where are they? Got to be an error.

The numbers are always going to be off. Schools don't report revenue the same, the articles pull in a number of a different sources, etc. There isn't much consistency.

In 2008, we had 6 teams in the top-10. Not sure this is reason to get excited.

Why should that bother me? Dickride bama all you want if a&m wouldve spent near what we did yall would have been in the red. I know yall have some big boosters but so do we. Aggie would switch lives with Bama so fast before the lube went dry.
