It'll be a slugfest for a bit ... We should win by 10-14 ...

Sorry OP, but this isn't going to be much of a football game.
Wisky lacks elite skill talent, their OL isn't as good this year (multiple media outlets have stated it during camp) and there is only one good RB on the roster right now.
They lack size on the DL this year.

The game is changing and Wiscy is being left behind.
CUM and the Mich St frickstick from the nfl are raping the region for the best LOS players.
21 points doesn't win a game anymore.
What confuses me is that more people think Wiscy will beat Bama than think UGA will beat Bama.
UGA is a much much better team than Wiscy this year. Top to bottom.
So the groupthink opinion is inconsistent.

Unless Wiscy has some other once in a generation player waiting in the wings, they will be shite this year.
Not to mention a new coaching staff implementing a new system. Alabama's offense will probably be nothing to write home about in this game, but the Alabama defense will be feasting. I see Alabama winning a 31-3 type contest.

Holy shite. How many times a day is someone going to post this same thread?

Wiscy will play hard, but Alabama defense will be too much for them. Alabama's offense will be shaky (first game) but more than capable of getting a 3 TD lead.

Wisconsin should stand no chance, but I'll be pulling for them. I've always found myself pulling for them in football and basketball. It'll jumpstart the whole "SEC is the best" argument again, but it is what it is. I just don't think Wisky will be very good this season.

Actually Corey Clement is pretty damn good. He had 949 yards and 9 TDs behind MGIII.
I also expect a lot out of Bradrick Shaw, the freshman from Hoover. He's perfect for their system.
As long as Barry Alvarez has a say in Madison then they'll never truly have a new offensive system. Their offense will still be giant corn fed OL in front of big strong power backs.

neither is Bama
We lose 42-35 to the eventual national champion in a national semi-final and all of a sudden we are on the decline.

It's just dumb people praying Bama loses so they can make fun of Bama.

I doubt there is one LSU fan who wouldn't be happy to see Bama lose. We get it.
therefore, there is no need to create a silly thread about a game concerning Bama.
However, since LSU plays a complete shite OOC schedule, it has been pleasant to not have to endure the incessant LSU fan generated schedule threads.

If Wisconsin is not what they use to be, then why was it when LSU played them, the whole fricking rant was saying Wisconsin was nothing?
Posted on 8/15/15 at 9:32 pm to lsufancy63
Huh? LSU had a middle school level passing game and Wisconsin only had one stud on offense and he was arguably the best one they ever had.

[quote]I'm not suggesting that I think Wisconsin will win. But who is everyone pulling for? Have we had enough of bama's dominance and ready to see them fall on their face even if it is a big ten team. Or are we toting the conference line? This post was edited on 8/15 at 7:54 pm[/quote
If you are tired of Bama's dominance then ask your team to do something about it other than your fans whine about it.

Exactly. Any big OOC games won by SEC schools is good for everyone in the SEC.

We need UAT to whip the cheeseheads soundly.
But wisky is a fun school to play, all those Nordic blondes who like beer -- a bit liberal, but that can be good too!

Which team any of us pulls for is immaterial to the outcome. It'll be close for a half, and probably low-scoring as both teams struggle with offensive rhythm, but Bama will pull away to a decisive win. Whomever said 31-3 probably has it right, with the bulk of the Tides points coming in the last 20 minutes or so.

I think Bama's gonna destroy them so I am pulling for Wisky because I want them to at least make it a contest. I am itching for college football to start and I want to see good games.
