From that source:
So he is basically on the hot seat.

Sources indicated that a humiliating loss to rival Oklahoma on Saturday or a disastrous finish to the season could lead to a discussion about Strong's removal after only two years.
So he is basically on the hot seat.

In some recent trips back to Texas, I talked to two high school coaches. Both have won state titles; both are “Texas guys” (as opposed to A&M guys); one has a player at Texas now. Neither coach had ever met Charlie Strong, nor talked to him on the phone, nor exchanged emails with him. One coach told me he’d been in the same room with Strong at a local coaches’ meeting, but Strong left after giving a speech without sticking around to shake hands. The other coach told me that when Texas recruited one of his players, Strong’s assistants funneled their communications through the recruit rather than the coach. This was the case even when the Texas assistants came to watch the recruit at high school practice — entering the high school coach’s domain, as it were.
At some point in our talk, the second coach pointed across his office. There, behind glass, was a Mack Brown autographed football.

Core Values is as laughable as it was when Urban Myer created it. In fact, charlie hasn't come up with a single original thing. He took core values from UM, took the Twitter lengo he uses from Kevin sumlin, etc.

Honestly, how was he gonna command the respect of 85 scholarship athletes when he isn't even allowed to get on most of the rides at Six Flags?
It was a lost cause from the start.

That article is full of sunshine pumping....and I like it. Let it BURN!
First of, there WAS talent at Texas. Charlie Strong just ran most of it out with his core values BS and misused alot of the talent leftover. The mess that is going on today is due to the players HE recruited (#letsride Kris Boyd, Charles Omenihu, and DeAndre McNeal )
And the Malik sweepstakes that he valiantly won was due to us not having a DC. But that's OK, let's leave those facts out and let this fricker burn like a California wildfire.

Per "Coacheshotseat", Sumlin is 104th out of 128 coaches in terms of how hot his seat is (only Pinkel, McElwain, and Saban are safer).
Strong is 5th, behind Hazell (Purdue), O'Leary (UCF), London (Virginia), and Rhoads (Iowa State).
I wonder if the Black Coaches Association will call them out as being racists due to the ethnic and racial makeup of Coaches #1, #3, and #5 on that list...

You do know that this is photoshopped right?
Posted on 10/6/15 at 9:51 am to Old Sarge
Yeah I know. But he's still like 5'8".
Posted on 10/6/15 at 10:24 am to Masterag
There is no way he is 5'8". He's noticeably and significantly shorter than his 5'9"-5'11" players.
I'd guess 5'6" or so
