Best Plan Ever to Maximize SEC $$ in the Future (Realignment/Expansion)

College sports is a business, don't let any of the hyperbole about "student athlete" fool you.
The SEC Network was one of the most successful network launches of all time. Each school is going to get significantly more money this year, and the years to come, than was forecasted. 'Merica loves SEC Sports.
How do we maximize our revenue, while also keeping our geographic, academic, and sports achievement level of success/perception high?
1. 9 SEC Game Football Schedule.
-SEC games are worth more than watching a SEC team beat an FCS team. Teams with OOC rivalry games still get to keep those, and everybody still gets two warm up games.
2. Expand the SEC's Geographic/Media market share.
- We need to add schools in states/media markets that don't have SEC schools:
TOP 5 Choices: Oklahoma, UNC, UVA, KU, WVU
- That would create 19 teams as of now in the SEC, but see the next step below....
3. Cut Schools who are NOT needed for that Geographic/Media market share.
- Goodbye: Auburn, Miss St, Vanderbilt and aTm.
- These schools aren't needed to maintain the state's media market interest, plus they ARE NOT flagships, and everybody knows, the SEC is a Flagship Conference.
Your NEW SEC would look like:
SEC East
Florida
Georgia
South Carolina
Tennessee
UNC
UVA
WVU
Kentucky
SEC WEST
Alabama
Mississippi
LSU
Arkansas
Texas
Oklahoma
Kansas
Missouri
All the schools are below the Mason-Dixon.
All the Schools are the flagship schools of their states.
We would have 16 Teams, in 16 States/Media Markets.
UVA would add to the conference academics, baseball, swimming, etc.. sucess.
KU would add to the conference basketball and academic success.
UNC would add to the conference basketball success...academics... we'll have to talk about later.
WVU...they are below the Mason Dixon and they have people that watch a lot of tv.
With a 9 game schedule, you still get to pick 3 OOC games a year. Bama can still schedule Auburn, Tenn can still schedule Vandy, etc....
Nothing is personal, this is just business, and doing these things is going to help bring the most money to the SEC, but none of this would happen anytime soon, or even in the next decade. Maybe we can work out a deal with the Big12 or ACC to just trade some teams so nobody has to pay the buyouts.

Yes, we have more fans and we are the named school for the state.

You need to stay in school until you can define flagship

Normally I would groan about your B1G suckoff foreshadowing but given the INCREDIBLY low realignment IQ in OP it would actually make the thread much better. So lets do this! Tell us how great your fellow Yankees are.

And more money and more students and more alum. Sorry, I figured a Tech fan would understand that these schools are more than just football teams.

Sure cut out 4 charter members
How long has USCe been in the SEC now? not even 3 decades. This is worse than the OU/TX debate
