Will Arkansas Baseball retire Benintendi's #16?

I know at LSU, the player has to have graduated to be eligible to have his jersey # retired.

I'd guess Benintendi is the most decorated player in program history. Has Arkansas mentioned anything about holding #16 from next year's squad?

Or should Benintendi pass his # down to a deserving player?

They should, Benintendi is probably the most accomplished Arkansas athlete in the last 50 years.

That's for hall of fame IDK about jersey number retired.

We don't really retire a whole lot of numbers in any sport...really

I think former coach norm debriyn is the only in baseball #23

McReynolds hasn't been retired
Tom Pagnozzi hasn't been retired
Cliff Lee's hasn't been retired

Benny had a good season, but any discussion of retiring his number is laughable, at this point IMO.
