National seeds shouldn't even be awarded to teams unless they are able to host a super regional IMO.

Has a team ever hosted a super regional without hosting a regional?

Serious question, is the first time under this format that the Super is being hosted by the lower seeded team? I know it happens in regionals, but this is the first I've heard of it at a super.
