The BBQ was pretty good last season.

It's mind boggling to me why LSU can never develope a QB
It's not really mind-boggling. It starts with the head coach. He and his staff don't know how to evaluate quarterbacks in the recruiting process and don't know how to develop them.
I think the sixth-place prediction could be accurate, especially with Miles saying in May with a full spring season behind us that a QB needs to take charge.
In other words, same crap as last year. And I don't have faith in Kevin Steele as DC.

Isn't your whole defense, outside of Carl Lawson, practically a big question mark?
Lawson is at 100%. Malzahn said so a few days ago. McKinzy and Frost will be 3rd year starters at LB and should be able to play more downhill with the change in philosophy. I would put our starting 4 DB's up against everyone's except for maybe the corners at Florida.
The question mark is DEPTH. If we have starters go down; we could be in deep shite on D!!!

Then Alleva and Les will be gone.

I like Les, but he should never finish that low after coaching 10 yrs at LSU and collecting that kind of talent.

Ranked 13 out of 14 teams in Sacks and TFL It's mind blowing that LSU ever won a prior to 2009..........

I thought Saban was the reason lsu has talented players?

He's basically saying he has no trust in the QB position

You guys really will say anything to deny it, won't you?
LSU was a top 10 defense (#3 in PPG, #8 in YPG) in the COUNTRY last year and #1 in the SEC. You can stop dragging up obscure stats about tackles for loss and 2nd down effectiveness when the ball is between the 30 and 35 yard lines, we all know what really happened.

yep. couldn't hold a lead for 50 seconds against Alabama or keep Notre Dame off the scoreboard.

I forgot about all those bonus points you get for scoring in the last minute compared to the rest of the game.

Well, we all know what happened there...Chavis was counting his A&M money in between plays

Nah, if we can hold Bama to 13 pts in regulation this season I'll be fricking stoked.
Bonus stat: LSU had a better 3rd down conversion rate than Bama did in their game this year.
Bonus bonus stat: LSU had 259 yards of offense in that game (but it was the defense's fault )
