No way Auburn makes it after getting swept by a terrible Alabama team and then at best 1/3 at Florida this weekend.

I don't think it is though. It holds 2K. If they can put in temp bleachers, it should be hard to get to about 2,500 or so. That should be plenty.

2500 is PLENTY for a regional for the ags? Oh my.

Plenty to not disqualify DBU being a host site that they earned. Of course if it was only 2500 it would sell out and there would be a ton of Ags left out. Regardless it'll be 2500 more there than at Braum that weekend or two.

Did they earn it? 4-7 vs top 25

I would say at a minimum they earned a regional host. They're going to end up with a winning % over 80.

1. Vanderbilt, matched up with Illinois (4)
Matched up against the #4 national seed from the Big Ten who will probably lose to the PAC-12 team in their regional. Looks familiar. LINK

Oh yea, I agree regional host no problem. Besides the #1 RPI Missouri State deserves a national seed more than DBU if you compare the two.
I see D1 list DBU as conference champs. I don't see how that's possible (unless Missouri Valley has a tourney). Missouri State has a 2 game lead in the standings with only 3 games left, and Missouri State won series.

The conference champs is who they are predicting to win the conference tourney, I believe.

ah ok Missouri Valley does have a tourney. So if DBU doesn't win the tourney you think they are a national seed? I say no, but I would switch them with A&M right now.

Probably not, but there are other factors that go into it. What if A&M, Vandy, SoCal, and Miami all go winless in their conference tourney.

Granted the Gamecocks season didn't turn out how they wanted, it's funny looking back on how much shite was given to them for losing to CofC in the first game of the season
CofC hosting if they win out.

Hopefully we end up in Springfield. Hammons is awesome and there's obviously a ton of Arkansas fans in the area.

Anyone that actually follows baseball knows CoC is a solid program. They won a regional last year and have a handful of appearances over the last decade.

I know, I graduated from there
Hoping everything works out and CofC plays at LSU for the Supers. The 2 teams have the number 3 and 4 BA in the nation.

I would hope D1 is wrong and you could avoid LSU until later, but that's just me.

They're sort of in a shite spot regardless. Either paired up with them, or win the regional as the high 2 seed in a southern regional also paired with LSU.
CofC has the bats and pitching to make it to Omaha. A shame for them though, the top 2 pitchers from last year (Bailey Ober being an all American) both had Tommy John before the season even started.

Then if DBU's field is too small, see if UT-Arlington's field is large enough. Or if the Rangers are out of town use Globe Life. (Or bribe the Rangers to forfeit the games they would probably lose anyway)
This is UCLA's Jackie Robinson Stadium. They've hosted regionals
